Jailbait Reviews:
"They're cruel, they're reckless, and they're dangerous as hell. They're teenage girls, and Deirdre O'Connor has their number in Jailbait, a terrific little play."
-Variety
"Deirdre OConnors drama well written, well acted, and well directed (by Suzanne Agins) makes a strong inaugural production for Cherry Lanes new venture, the Cherry Pit."
-The New Yorker
"A complicated and darkly comic cautionary tale about the illusion of intimacy at any age."
-Time Out New York (Critics Pick)

Mission Statement:
"To create a theater where powerful plays can be heard, and where exciting actors of all ethnic backgrounds can have a platform to showcase their talent."
Our Aim:
Our goal is to create a dialogue between theater artists and the community by producing plays that explore the boundaries of artistic expression and enlighten the human experience.
History:
No Name Theater was founded in the summer of 2009. We started out by holding readings in Jay's home, with family and friends. These readings soon grew too large for his place, and later readings have been held in prominent Off Broadway theaters such as Theater Row's Studio and Soho Rep.
Guidelines on Play submissions:
Thank you for your interest in No Name Theater Company. Our play development process begins with our Workshop Reading series, in which actors do an unrehearsed reading of a play, followed by an open discussion of the script.
The next step in the process is a Staged Reading, in which actors spend several hours rehearsing before reading the play for an audience. And after that, a full-scale production.
We are looking for a character-driven, story-driven plays, with a cast of up to five actors, that allow for racial and ethnic diversity in casting.
Plays can be submitted via email at info_nonametheater.org
or mailed to:
